In the past it was a village riched of artistic attractions, which unfortunately over the centuries were robbed and destroyed by military troops.
One of the few buildings in the romanesque style that remains, is the Abbazia di Villanova. The interior is composed by a nave and two aisles and a crypt. Behind the altar you can find a choir of the fourteenth century, fine carved.
On the choir there is a wooden bas-relief which represents some Saints and the Crucifixion. Very beautiful is the romanesque St Abbondio church, built with an unique nave, indoors it is enriched by some frescos, a St.Abbondio's statue and an earthenware statue (Pieta').
