Saint Ambrogio represents the working soul of Valpollicella thanks to its flourishing marble industry. In the town centre there is the village church and on the hill that dominates the town raises the little church of San Zeno (XIII century) built in pink limestone.
In the fraction of Gargagnago there is Villa Serego Alighieri that today is a Farmhouse. Originally it was property of one of the sons of the most famous poet.
From the fraction of Gargagnago it is possible to go up towards one of the most beautiful and panoramic places of the entire valley, the village of San Giorgio. Its small square is dominated by the presents of the Romanic Church, one of the most ancient of the Verona territory. Of interest is also the connected Museum, with archaeological remains of roman ages found nearby.
